Javad Azimi


Born in 1977, lives and works in Gorgan, Iran, known as an environmental artist. He draws attention to the urgency of climate change, ecological pollution, indigenous behaviors, and myths—aims for compassion with nature. His artistic practice encompasses film, performance, sculpture, painting, and literature; these research-based projects address social and political issues relating to the natural and urban environment.
